About the Gallery
From Collector to Painter
Challenge Yourself
I have been a collector of art for years. My collection is diverse, having over 20 artists displaying their spectacular palates of landscapes, wildlife, human activities with snapshots in time on canvas, bronze, stone, clay and ceramics. I couldn't ask for a better reference of art than I have within my own collection. My desire to pick up the artists' tools seemed to be a natural progression. Most all of my work is in traditional oil. I paint from the thousands of photographs taken over the years. My art work attempts to show the depth, activity and emotions that I viewed through the camera’s lens with possibly a minor change to make things interesting. I've been working at the Studio of The Green Art House with Richard Stergulz, one of the major Figurative and Portrait artists of Southern California . My work has been displayed in the Escondido Art Association Gallery, the Escondido Arts Partnership Gallery, the San Diego County Fair's Exhibition of Fine Art with work hung in the prestigious San Diego Symphony Towers. I hope my work is as enjoyable to you as it was for me to create.
